The mission of Circle of Support is to reduce the trauma of child abuse investigations, foster professional collaboration and cooperation, expedite service delivery to victims and provide education and advocacy, regarding the prevention of child abuse, within the community.
​At Circle of Support CAC, our multidisciplinary approach reduces the number of times a kid has to recount their trauma and gives every child a chance to reclaim their childhood. Since opening our doors in 2015 we have provided services to over 2,200 children and their families impacted by abuse in Cambria and Bedford Counties.
The unique needs of children impacted by abuse are best served at the Child Advocacy Center due to our multidisciplinary, coordinated approach to child abuse cases. Our CAC provides victims with the most support possible to reduce any additional trauma, facilitate timely referrals for services, and assures the best outcomes for child victims and their families.
